Brothers and Sisters,
Thank you for coming if you came. Thank you for trying to come if you couldn't get tickets. And I'm sorry you didn't make it this time 'cos this time it was a bit good.
The Bottle Orchestra reformed (alcoholics)
Mr Miller the maestro mesmerisingly mad.
The Hollingbury Jezebels and their performing mamories (that's tits to you, mate).
Kate Cameron and the best version of 'Burgess Hill' ever.
The stunning power and commitment of The Dukes' Mound Male Voice Choir. (Which was the gay one?)
Last and most ... ME!
Holding back the years. The gut. And the double chins.
They all rocked with laughter. They all rocked.
Some were still rocking in their late sixties. Tom was 11.
The first 25 years. Here's to the next 25.
That's 2033. I'll be 79 years of age.
Still doing the songs about Hove and Worthing.
But with the help of prescriptive drugs.
Old friends reunited. Heightened emotions.
I loved every blooming minute.
See you at The Dome in March!
