SHOW-BIZ LOWS:
Total frustration … working for Juice FM., a complete waste of one year of my life. I started a job I was not allowed to finish.
Total infuriation …The BBO were about to sign a contract with Guinness for a series of highly paid ads, when the plug was pulled at the very last moment.
Total discrimination … I auditioned to present the local BBC breakfast show only to be told that although I was just what they were looking for, I was too heterosexual and would alienate the station’s gay following in Brighton!
Total nonsense … BTM was banned from The Dome Concert Hall, Brighton, for being too low-brow! It was re-instated after fantastic local support (so it was a high in the end).
Total baldness … I auditioned to become Richard O’Brian’s successor on The Crystal Maze … got down to the final three … but didn’t make it.
Total bollocks … I received not one but two warnings from The National Radio Authority after they received complaints about a feature entitled ‘Germans Ha-Ha’. Both complaints were from the same German woman!
